message in a bottle.

Just a castaway, an island lost at sea, oh
Another lonely day, with no one here but me, oh
More loneliness than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair, oh

So. This is my first time blogging. Time and time again, I have said that I would never get into blogging. I've been the type of girl who puts pen to paper, and so often throw away my sentiments. My soul is used to the constant binge and purging of feelings. So I figured I would tinker with this idea and see where it takes me, I have the entire world wide web to explore, right? Actually, I must give necessary credit to Kristin - who actually has to be subjected to the rants and raves inside of my head, via email. Thus far, we have been discussing how to work on this entire opening up deal. I've been a recluse for too long and too consumed with my own thoughts to be living life.

A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
Love can mend your life but
Love can break your heart

I hope to explore this funny hyperbole of contradiction. You know, the typical rock in a hard place scenario or catch 22's we are dealt with daily. I find myself torn between vagrancy and routine, love and like, hope and despair, Sting and the Police, here and now.

Walked out this morning, don't believe what I saw
Hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore
Seems I'm not alone at being alone
Hundred billion castaways, looking for a home
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world
Ill send an s.o.s. to the world

But I have a funny feeling about this online adventure already and that is that we are all kindred spirits in search of something similar. I believe together we can embark on this scavenger hunt in life and help each other in our hunt for the next clue or covet the next prize. I, wholeheartedly, posit that we are in search of a predetermined lesson or message and that God uses us as instruments to suffice His message through interpersonal relationships with others.

I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
